Dear Cardiac Specialists’ Patients:

We hope you are staying well during this extraordinary time.

Cardiac Specialists is following government guidelines to maintain social distancing and avoiding unnecessary exposures to the COVID-19 virus by limiting the need for people to leave their homes.  This is most important for the health of our patients and others.

We are now able to conduct appointments remotely with video visits (Telehealth).  We are committed to our patients and are available to talk, answer questions, and address concerns during video visits (telehealth) using your cell phones, IPad, or personal computers and the MYCHART portal (preferably) in conjunction with Skype, FaceTime or other similar applications.  These visits can accomplish most of what we can do in person. We will be contacting you to convert all upcoming follow-up visits to telehealth video visits unless there is an issue for which in-person evaluation is required.  Our staff will be more than happy to walk you through the procedure of setting up a video visit.

If technological limitations prevent a video visit we can offer you a telephone visit which, although less optimal, will still allow us to review your cardiac issues and answer your questions.

Finally, if you have an issue or cardiac problem that cannot be handled by a telehealth or telephone visit, our offices are still open.  Please schedule an appointment with your practitioner, who will be happy to see you or arrange for another provider to see you.
